Refund Policy
The short version: Stardust purchases are final. This page explains why, what happens when something genuinely goes wrong with a charge, and the rights this policy does not affect.
All Stardust purchases are final
Stardust is a virtual, in-app currency. It is credited to your account as soon as Stripe confirms your payment, and it has no cash value: it cannot be exchanged for money, transferred between accounts, or redeemed outside git-universe. Because it is delivered immediately and consumed inside the game, purchases are not refundable.
You agree to immediate delivery at checkout
Before paying you are asked to confirm that your Stardust should be delivered right away, and to acknowledge that doing so ends any cancellation period you would otherwise have for digital content. That confirmation is required, the purchase cannot proceed without it, and it is why the sale is final.
Spent Stardust and pulled items
Stardust spent on a hull pull, a weapon pull, or anything else in the game is gone once the result is shown, including a result you did not want. Pull odds are published on the pull screen itself before you spend anything. A duplicate is converted to an upgrade rather than refunded.
Your statutory rights still apply
Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law where you live, and where that law requires a refund we will honour it. This policy describes what we offer beyond those rights, which for a delivered virtual balance is nothing.
Mistakes, duplicate charges, and problems
If you were charged twice, charged for Stardust that never arrived, or believe a charge was not authorised, that is not a refund request, it is a problem to fix, and we want to fix it. Contact the project maintainer through the public repository with your Stripe receipt and we will look into it.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. A chargeback on a delivered virtual balance may result in the account being suspended while it is resolved, and it is a slower route to the same answer than simply asking.
